Product Support Engineer

As a Product Support Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to supporting our global sales and service organization and our customers.

  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to our sales and service partners and direct customer support for technical requests, including troubleshooting, problem solving and integration support.
  • Product and Process Improvement: Collaborate with various teams including Product Marketing, Finance, Operations, IT and Manufacturing Engineering to identify and implement product and process improvements.
  • Efficient handling of service returns: Responsible for the efficient handling of service returns in the factories to ensure fast and high quality repair, always acting as an advocate for the customer.
  • Cost monitoring: Monitoring costs associated with service processes and activities to ensure that all actions are carried out economically.
  • Documentation: Creation of technical documentation, instructions and FAQs to provide comprehensive support to our customers and partners.

Your qualification

  • Completed studies in the field of engineering
  • 3-5 years of professional experience with a product that requires technical explanation and ideally experience in working with customers.
  • Communication skills and technical understanding combined with a high customer focus. (very solid English and German language skills at B2 level are important).
  • Knowledge and affinity with Excel, Access, Power BI is an advantage, but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work in a team and a high degree of initiative.
