About the role:
- Act as a key figure for financial insights by taking responsibility for cost controlling, margin analysis, and identifying, evaluating, and commenting on operational KPIs.
- Create forecasts, reports, and ad-hoc analyses for the business, present these in meetings, and build and maintain partnerships with business stakeholders.
- Participate in the annual business plan and forecast preparation, maintaining consistent communication with the respective parts of the organization and C-level executives.
- Lead the month-end close process for specific units, ensuring that financial reports meet the high standards of stakeholders and shareholders.
- Given the international, private equity-backed, and growing environment, collaboration in project controlling and the management of strategic initiatives rounds off this area of responsibility.
What makes you excel in this position:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration or a related field is required.
- First experience in Consulting, Controlling, or FP&A is preferred, ideally within a consulting firm or an internationally oriented software company.
- A natural inclination towards being a Controller is essential: a strong preference for facts and figures, with the ability to convincingly present data as the source of truth, maintaining full control over information in Excel, SAP, or similar tools.
- A structured approach and a focus on achieving results are important, along with the ability to find creative solutions and enjoy collaborative teamwork.
- Extraordinary drive and a hands-on mentality are key: solution- and outcome-oriented, with a focus on uncovering untapped opportunities rather than dwelling on obstacles.
- Enthusiasm for joining a fast-growing FinTech is crucial: a passion for Tech and Finance, with a desire to learn more about the business and contribute to its growth success story.
- Fluency in English completes the profile, while knowledge of German is a plus.
