Your Skills

• Degree or completed vocational training in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, Structural Engineering, or a related field
• Several years of experience in 3D design and construction of complex technical assemblies, ideally in offshore or plant engineering
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Cadmatic, SolidWorks, CATIA)
• Experience with PLM/PDM systems for managing design data
• Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and design guidelines in the offshore sector
• Experience in collision detection, FEM analysis, and structural assessments is an advantage
• Fluent English skills (spoken and written); German skills are a big plus
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented work approach with strong teamwork and communication skills

Your Tasks

• Develop and enhance 3D models for offshore converter platforms and their components
• Design and refine assemblies in close collaboration with engineers from various disciplines
• Conduct feasibility analyses and structural optimizations for offshore platforms
• Create and maintain technical drawings, bill of materials (BOM), and documentation
• Perform collision checks and simulations to ensure efficient and error-free designs
• Contribute to the development of design guidelines and standards for offshore platforms
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers, and internal departments for technical clarifications and project execution
• Conduct design reviews and present construction solutions to stakeholders
